CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations on this website. Please take a moment to read them before booking.

The Company enters into this Agreement as principal for reservations made for Hotel Waldinger.

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

1. DEFINITIONS

“Company” or “we” means Romos - commerce d.o.o., with its registered office in Croatia, Osijek, Ferde Livadića 9.

“Reservation” means the reservation of accommodation, events and/or any other service or item agreed with us.

“Agreement” means the reservation and these Terms, as well as any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the reservation.

“Hotel” means the rooms of Hotel Waldinger and Pansion Waldinger for which your reservation has been made.

“Terms” means these terms and conditions.

“Websites” means www.waldinger.hr

, www.gold.waldinger.hr

or any other website owned by us or operated by us from time to time for the purposes of the Hotel.

“VAT” means value added tax.

2. RESERVATIONS

All reservations at the Hotel are subject to these Terms.

When making a reservation or upon check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details, and you authorize the use of that card to charge all outstanding amounts. We will also have the right to require full prepayment or a deposit at the time of reservation if the reservation is made under these conditions. No reservation shall be considered confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this section have been provided.

GROUP RESERVATIONS

Five (5) or more rooms with the same arrival and departure date are considered a group and must be booked directly with the hotel’s group reservations team. For group inquiries, please contact us at hotel@waldinger.hr

. Only the Company may directly offer the terms and conditions for group reservations. The Company reserves the right to cancel group reservations made through booking channels that are not part of the Company’s group reservations team.

All details regarding group reservations, prices and conditions are stated in the offer sent by email.

3. ROOM RATES

The rates shown on the websites are average values per night per room until the appropriate room rate is selected. VAT is included in the price. All additional services are included only if stated. Minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation fee and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as stated on the website. After selecting a rate on the website, the total amount for the requested stay will be shown in the reservation summary.

If the reservation request is made by email, all of the above details (length of stay, rates, deposit, cancellation fee and other conditions) are stated in that email (offer).

All payments will be made in Croatian currency. The amount to be charged to your credit card is obtained by converting the price in euros into Croatian kuna according to the valid exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency in accordance with the exchange rate of the card associations. As a result of this conversion, there may be a small difference compared to the original price stated on our website.

The tourist tax* of 10.00 kuna and insurance of 1.00 kuna per person per day are not included in the price, but are visible and clearly stated during online booking (and stated in the email) as part of the final price. However, they are not charged in advance, but are paid directly at reception. Children aged 12 to 18 receive a 50% discount on the tourist tax. Children up to two years of age do not pay the tourist tax.

*The tourist tax may be subject to change by local authorities without prior notice.

4. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT CONDITIONS

Upon check-in, guests are required to confirm their identity using their reservation, passport/ID card and a valid credit or debit card, which will be used as a guarantee of payment. The Company is also legally obliged to record the guest’s passport/ID number, date and place of birth and nationality.

The above information will be requested from each guest, and the Company reserves the right to refuse stay to persons who cannot provide the above information.

Check-in time for hotel and guesthouse rooms is 2:00 PM on the day of arrival. All rooms secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of reservation will remain reserved until 23:59 on the scheduled day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed directly with the Company.

Departure time (check-out) is no later than 12:00 (noon). Late check-out, i.e. after the stated time, may be requested and is subject to availability and additional charges.

Accommodation units are subject to maximum occupancy rules determined by the Company, as follows:

• The maximum capacity of Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms is two persons (a third person is accommodated on an extra single bed, subject to an additional charge).

5. PAYMENT

We accept the following methods of payment: cash; credit cards – American Express, MasterCard/Diners International, Diners Club, JCB International Credit Card, Visa; debit cards – Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron.

For prepaid accommodation, upon arrival you must present the card used for payment and a corresponding personal identification document. All outstanding costs must be paid no later than check-out.

6. CANCELLATION OF SERVICE AND NO-SHOW

The cancellation policy varies depending on the rate booked. Please refer to the individual descriptions for the full rate at the time of booking.

Services marked as “Best Available Rate” may be cancelled free of charge up to two days before the arrival date. After that time, 50% of the total stay will be charged. In case of no-show or early departure, 100% of the stay will be charged. Cancellation and no-show fees apply after the relevant time and will be charged to the credit/debit card provided at the time of reservation.

For services marked as “Non Refundable”, the Company requires payment for the entire stay at the time of reservation, which is non-refundable and no reservation changes are allowed. Payment is made in kuna according to the exchange rate of the Croatian National Bank on the day of charging the credit/debit card provided at the time of reservation. Cancellation or no-show will result in forfeiture of the prepayment.

7. CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY

In the event that the Company must cancel a guest’s reservation, the guest will receive a full refund and the Company will bear no further liability to the guest arising from such cancellation. However, the Company will make reasonable efforts to attempt to relocate any cancelled confirmed reservation to an alternative location similar to the Company’s standards.

The Company reserves the right to accommodate guests in any room within the class of the reserved room. Accommodation in a specific unit cannot be guaranteed prior to check-in.

If during the reservation you specified a desired room class, the Company has the right to relocate you to another type of room for operational reasons.

8. DAMAGE

The Company reserves the right to charge for damage and hereby you authorize the Company to charge your credit or debit card for any damage in your room or to Company property incurred during your stay (including, without limitation, special cleaning), as well as for any items missing from your room after your departure.

9. VISA

Obtaining a visa for entry into Croatia is your responsibility. The Company will not be responsible for paying any additional costs in the case of entry or exit visa fees. The same rule applies to all vaccination costs required for entry into any country. You are also responsible for all necessary transport tickets. A refund will not be granted in the event of late arrival at the Hotel (one day or more).
